5.4.3 Office of Academic Compliance

The Office of Academic Compliance (OAC) collaborates with schools to ensure institutional alignment with Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) accreditation standards, and federal and state academic compliance requirements.

One of OAC's aims is to support and conduct meaningful, useful, and feasible assessment of student learning to foster the University's unique learning and research environment. The assessment process requires programs and faculty to: identify student learning outcomes; ensure sufficient learning experiences are provided to make those outcomes possible; collect and analyze data; and interpret and apply the results to improve the course or program.
